    • How many times have I read this book? It's impossible to say. It has just gotten better with time, it's definitely on my Top 5 list!

    • This book is certainly a product of its time - so many things made me cringe, especially the sexist and racist comments that are written as though they are progressive (and possibly were for mainstream America of the early 1970s). In that way, it's a interesting look into a time I don't know too much about. The story itself is engaging, the characters as fleshed out as one would expect for a pulp novel.
