    • Update 2/20/17 - Lowering my rating from 4.5 stars to 3 because I feel 4 stars was too generous. Still enjoyed this book, though!!4.5 stars! I really really enjoyed this book. A full review is to come on my channel, but I had such a great time reading this book. It started out pretty rough for me, I had some issues with the characters and the writing at first, but by the end of the book, I couldn't stop reading! An absolutely great, fast read I would totally recommend to anyone :)

    • The group Shut Up & Read (Read It & Reap) provided a copy of the PDF in exchange for an honest review.Sapphire and Roxanna will be spending the summer at their aunt’s farm in Iowa. Sapphire is a privileged and spoiled L. A. diva. Roxanna’s life experiences are not on Sapphire’s level of understanding or concern. They have never met each other nor have they met their aunt. They must live under their aunt’s house rules and immediately Sapphire must give her phone to her aunt for t [...]

    • Wow I was totally blown away by this book. I do know that I want to read more by Alice since she sucked me in from the start and kept me hooked until the very end. I can't really remember the last time I read a book that took me on such a roller coaster ride of emotions. Yes I confess there was a lot of ugly crying going on while reading this book but there was laughing and okay I might have yelled at the book while I was reading it a few times.Roxanna and her cousin Sapphire are both sent to th [...]

    • Just finished this book in one sitting and all I can say is: this book is fantastic!Comparing it to Alice Reeds first book, the writing in Petty Little Lives is way, way, way better. The characters are amazing and dimsional, interesting and sometimes infuriating, especially in Sapphire's case in the beginning of the book.Speaking of which, I loved our two main characters, Sapphire and Roxanna, though of course for Sapphire it took a little longer to grow on me. If I had to decide which one is my [...]

    • Amazing! The different POVs were brilliantly captured and truly different. Seeing some things happen through Sapphire's eyes and then through Roxanna's was a lot of fun, though some of the chapters were truly pulling on my heartstrings. The way the story ended was on point, and just so cute! This is a summer must read. I so recommend this read to everyone!

    • Roxanna and her cousin Sapphire are being forced to spend the summer working at their unknown aunt’s house/farm. The girls have never met, but their mothers are sisters and want the two of them to become friends and feel like forcing them together will cause it. The girls could not be more different and must grow as people to make a go of getting to know each other.I thought I was going to get a drama filled, angst inducing teen read, maybe bordering on New Adult with some sexual situations th [...]

    • The author mailed me the ebook version in exchange for an honest review3.5 starsIt was a really cute story, more like a fairy tale. And I enjoyed reading it, but in the end it turned out to be a bit disappointing for me.The story:so, we have two cousins with rather strange peculiar names - Roxanna Revolution and Sapphire Hope. Both of them are sent to their aunt's farm for two months during the summer, so that each of them can think about their future and may be (preferably) change a little bit [...]

    • If you are in the mood for an angsty teen novel , then Petty Little Lives is the read for you. We first met Roxanne Revolution who we can judge is a singer on Youtube but seems things have happened the past few months and now her parents are sending her to live with her Aunt Valenca for the two months of Summer Break. We then met Sapphire Hope whom is Roxanne's cousin on her mother's side. Sapphire is a spoilt brat and the opposite of Roxanne , as she grew up in LA with wealthy parents , her mot [...]

    • (I received a digital copy of this book in exchange for a honest opinion.)Roxanne and Sapphire are two cousins who are completely opposite in every way imaginable. Sapphire is the Hollywood girl, is spoiled to the core and is the typical plastic Barbie. On the other hand, Roxanne is the quiet, shy girl with a big secret. They are sent to Iowa to stay two months at their aunt's place and it completely changes them.It was not a bad read, quite good in fact. The story was predictable but it didn't [...]

    • I loved these characters from start to finish! Sapphire's bitchy persona at the beginning was so well crafted and annoying that it made her character 10x better than the average biatch. As for Roxanna, I love how creative she is and I did not expect the twist to be honest! Overall I really enjoyed this read and connected with the characters. Beautiful <3

    • This was such a good book. I just really needed a book that was quick and simple, and this delivered so nicely. I loved the characters. There were a couple parts at the beginning where I liked the story, but didn't love it, but once I pushed past that and got to the heart of the story, it was really good. A great little summer read!

    • Note 1: I received a copy of this book at my request in return for an honest review. I have no other connection to this author.Note: 2: I'm not 100% sure what it is I read is exactly what is available for sale at or elsewhere. I say that because the ISBN listed on the review copy I received was shown as 9781680582505, not as it was shown here. Moreover, I saw no option to enter notes as I was reading based upon BI "Loc" on GoodReads, only as page number. So, the wisdom of my notes is alas not s [...]

    • Once again, I deeply enjoyed reading Alice Reeds' books. I had such a great time reading this book. "Petty Little Lives" is, in my opinion, perfect as title for this NA Romance novel that moves via the various Points of View. But let's get started, shall we?Sapphire and Roxanna will be spending the summer at their aunt’s farm. Sapphire is a privileged and spoiled diva. Roxanna’s life experiences are not on Sapphire’s level of understanding or concern. They have never met each other nor the [...]

    • This is an amazing story!! It follows two cousin's how are thrown together for a summer on their aunt's farm, neither want to be there, but it turns out to be the best summer for them. I would recommend this book !!
