    • Thanks to my friend, Jim, I have now read five Leonard Scott books and his writing style improved with every one. This one differs from his previous efforts in that it's subject is not the Viet Nam war. It is my favorite so far and one reason may be that it is a change of pace. • Another great book by this author. This book is an entertaining story that reads quickly and is hard to put down. There are numerous themes and sub-plots interwoven into the main story, however it is not hard to follow, while at the same time not being overly predictable. Strong characters, interesting dialogue, and some very intriguing foreshadowing (this book was written in '95). For me, I enjoy reading about characters that I can relate to, and I believe that I can with this novel.
